"If Batman ever decided to start a new career in the world of motorsport he'd probably be sat behind the wheel of something like this, the Honda Pegasus.
The Pegasus was designed by Andrus Ciprian, a Romanian designer who's created a number of interesting concept vehicles over the past few years including the Hummer HB, Mazda RX-Z and Dacia MC.
The Honda Pegasus is a single-seat racing car which features styling inspired by some of the classic concept cars from the 1950s, namely the GM Firebird concepts - like the Pontiac Firebird II - from the late 50s. This influence can be seen in the array of wings, spoilers and air management systems which are located all around the vehicle.
To match the airplane-inspired bodywork, Ciprian has proposed a small gas-turbine jet engine as the power source. This engine, located at the rear, would provide massive amounts of thrust, so hopefully the spoilers and wings of the vehicle would do their job and prevent the Pegasus from literally taking off!
The wheels of the vehicle have specially designed vanes which draw air in when rotating to help cool the brakes.
Obviously the Pegasus isn't destined for production, but it's a fun and unique concept nonetheless which takes two very different disciplines, classic concept cars and modern racing cars, and fuses them into one jaw-dropping package."
I do oil painting, and have only a few class hours of introduction to 3-Dimensional Art. I have no idea how this is made in 3-Dimensional Art, but it is flat out gorgeous work!
